Brian Casey

Founder & Attorney at Law

Brian Casey is a seasoned attorney with over 14 years of legal experience representing thousands of clients in complex criminal matters throughout Florida. Over the course of his career, he has litigated hundreds of evidentiary hearings and more than 20 jury trials, handling both state and federal cases involving serious felony and misdemeanor charges.

Before entering private practice, Brian served as an Assistant Public Defender in Monroe County, Florida, and also worked as a prosecutor in both Florida and Georgia. During that time, he managed thousands of cases involving DUI offenses, drug crimes, theft, robbery, fraud, burglary, racketeering, illegal harvesting and possession violations, and murder charges. His extensive courtroom experience gives clients a strong advocate who understands the criminal justice system from multiple perspectives.

Brian has also completed specialized training in DUI Detection and Field Sobriety Exercises — a certification held by very few attorneys. In addition, he completed advanced training through the U.S. Secret Service and FBI in Computer Forensics and Mobile Device Forensics, giving him valuable insight into cases involving wiretaps, digital evidence, narcotics investigations, and other complex criminal matters. He is also trained in handling Capital (Death Penalty) cases.
Today, Brian focuses his practice on criminal defense and civil matters throughout the Florida Keys and surrounding areas. He regularly represents clients facing high-stakes charges in both state and federal court and is known for providing strategic, hands-on representation tailored to each case.

A Florida native, Brian earned his B.S. in Applied Economics from Florida State University, where he also served as President of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and volunteering with organizations including the Coastal Conservation Association, Captains For Clean Water, and the Lower Keys Guides Association.
